Returns Information

We at Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase. However, should you wish to return the product to us, will be happy to refund the cost of the item, less carriage, provided that the item(s) are returned to us within 14 days of receipt of your order. The returned item must be in an unmarked, unused and in a saleable 'as new' condition with its original packaging.

The customer is liable for all carriage charges relating to the return of unwanted items unless it has been agreed via email that Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments will cover the cost of the return. This will only be processed once we have received a receipt and will only be refunded up to a maximum of the original postage charged.

Returns Procedure

Before returning any products we advise customers to contact us before hand as we may be able to resolve without the need to return the item.

In order to return an item(s) you will require a Returns Number which will be sent to you upon receipt of the following information by letter, fax or e-mail to the address on your receipt.

1. Order Number
2. Full Name
3. Returning Product(s) including Serial Number(s) (if applicable)
4. A detailed description or reason for the Return - please see below for valid reasons

Also please be aware that if your personal information has changed i.e. moved house or changed phone number you will also need to include your new contact details.

On receipt of the completed information as above, our Customer Services Team will allocate the Returns Number and send it to you via email as soon as possible. Simply include the Returns Numbers with the item(s) to be returned.

Goods that have been altered from their original condition in any way cannot be returned.

Any return labels should not be placed directly on the item(s) packaging. Please wrap or box any item(s) to be returned in a protective layer and place any labels on this outer packaging.

Once the item is received back at our warehouse and inspected, we will process your replacement, repair or refund. Returning items without an allocated Returns Numbers will greatly delay the process.

Any refund due will be processed as soon as possible but please allow up to 30 days from the date of the safe return of the item(s) or cancellation of the order.

Exchanging an Item(s)

Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments offers customers 14 days from receipt of their order to exchange their item(s). If you wish to exchange your purchase then simply follow the returns procedure above. Once item(s) have been returned we will then contact you to arrange a refund or additional charge to settle any difference between the value of the original order against the new item requested.

Collection and re-delivery charges may be levied, dependent on the circumstances of the exchange.

We’re unfortunately unable to send out your new item before we receive your original item(s). If you need your item urgently, we recommend returning your original item(s), following the returns procedure using this form and place a new order for your preferred item(s). We will issue a refund once we received your original items(s) and send out your new item as soon as possible.

Incorrect Goods

It is the customer's responsibility to notify Alan Gregory Music & Musical Instruments of any incorrect goods supplied within 48 hours of delivery by letter, fax or e-mail. If the item(s) are not as ordered, the Customer must not open the manufacturers packaging or use the item(s).

The Customer will also be required to provide further information on what was received i.e. we may require the manufacturers part codes and a full description of what has been received and what was required.

Unwanted Goods

If goods are not faulty or damaged but are in fact no longer required then we will consider accepting them as a return but we will not refund any carriage paid and will levy up to a 20% handling charge of the cost of the goods. Please call 0161 445 4466 to discuss the possibility or options of goods being returned in this way.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can only be cancelled if the goods have not yet been despatched and must be cancelled via a letter, fax or email.
