The remarkable Pearl PFP-165E Piccolo is the culmination of years of exploration and research into the creation of a totally new material - Grenaditte. Precise pitch, an exquisite tonal centre and a spacious dynamic range are all to be found within this truly innovative instrument. Grenaditte echoes all the positive qualities of wood in appearance, weight, density and feel, but unlike wood, it is impervious to shock, temperature and moisture fluctuations, ensuring longevity of the instrument and a remarkable performance anywhere.
Launched in 2010, the PFP-165 features a grenadilla headjoint and high quality synthetic pads. It is manufactured with Pearl's world renowned Pinless Mechanism, in line with the entire Pearl flutes range, and alongside the 105 model is the only piccolo on the market to feature this innovation.
Supplied in a French style case and fleece lined cover with cleaning rod, gauze, polishing cloth and cork grease.
