The Buffet Crampon Festival clarinet was designed in collaboration with Jacques Lancelot, Guy Deplus and Michel Arrignon to meet the needs of todays musician who are faced with the daunting task of interpreting a wide repertoire of works from Mozart to Boulez.
The Buffet Festival A Clarinet is supplied with two barrels, each of a slightly different length, to enable the player to easily switch between 440 Hz and 442 Hz pitch. The tone holes have been minutely altered to improve the overall tuning, an adjustment also found on Buffet's Tosca model clarinets. This, combined with the poly-cylindrical bore, results in a rich powerful sound with a particularly warm and deep tone.
All our Buffet Festival clarinets come with cleaning accessories and a sturdy case.
